ELOISE M. KEATING
Loudonville - Eloise M. Keating, 96 of Loudonville, beloved wife of the late William James Keating, entered into eternal life on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany.
Born in New York, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Louise (Conner) Markey Jr.. Eloise and her late husband resided in and raised their family in New Haven CT. She was a longtime member of the New Haven Country Club. She moved to Southbury CT in 1984. Eloise has resided in Loudonville for the past 6 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Firm in her faith, Eloise met each day with kindness, dignity and grace. She offered care and concern for family and friends to comfort the sick and those in need. Eloise inspired us all with her abiding gratitude for the many blessings in her life.
Survivors include her loving children William P. (Patricia) Keating of Greenwich, NY, Kathleen (Dr. Jon M.) Fessel of Fairfield, CT, George M. (Ellen) Keating of Arlington, VA, Edward W. (Rebecca) Keating of Clinton, CT and Susan K. (Thomas D. Jr. ) O'Connor of Loudonville, NY, her cherished grandchildren William R. Keating, Sarah E. Keating, Thomas K. O'Connor, Kieran M. O'Connor, Margaret O'Connor Rottman, Owen T. Keating, Brendan B. Keating, H. Eliot Keating, Matthew M. Keating, Thomas D. O'Connor III, Katherine O'Connor Gregory, George E. O'Connor and Eloise K. O'Connor. She was the adored great-grandmother of William J. Keating, Anna E. Keating, Henry R. Keating, Alistair R. O'Connor, Tobias D. O'Connor, Audrey E. O'Connor, Ryan P. O'Connor, Declan J. O'Connor, Liam J. Rottman, Eleanor N. Keating, Alice O. Keating and Edward G. Keating. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Eloise was predeceased by her son, Dennis Keating, brother, George Markey, sister, Louise Markey, brother Edward Markey, sister, Mary Kuepper, sister, Janice O'Neal, brother, Marshall Markey, brother Gerard Markey, brother, John Markey, brother, Richard Markey an brother, Keran Markey.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, January 26, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. in St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumitie Road, Loudonville.
There will be no public calling hours.
Interment will be with her beloved husband William in Gates Of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla.
