Kathleen A. (Kathy) Englat Latham-On July 2, 2014 we lost our beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. Kathleen A. Englat (Kathy), 64, of Latham died on Wednesday at Samaritan Hospital in Troy surrounded by her family. Born in Troy, Kathy was the Daughter of the late Winston, and Kathleen (Tromblee). Sister of Martin (Renee) Tromblee, John (Jeanne) Tromblee, the late Brian (Cheryl) Tromblee, and Sister in-law Sandra (Paul) Fazackerley. Kathy is survived by her loving husband of almost 45 years, Thomas Englat, Daughter, Bridget (Sean) Murray, Son, Matthew (Mary Kate) Englat, Grandma to Rylan and Gavan Murray and Nana to Benjamin Englat, she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Holiday's were always a special and exciting time with Kathy. Her love for Christmas and the traditions she created and continued will live with our family forever. Kathy enjoyed spending time camping and boating on Lake George, specifically with her family. Kathy also looked forward to each Wednesday where she and her best friend Judy Grimsley would enjoy the day together. Anyone who knew Kathy, knew that she was an excellent listener and a great person to talk to. No matter the subject, Kathy always found a way to relate or just listen. Above all, Kathy adored her three beautiful grandchildren, Rylan, Gavan, and Benjamin, who meant the absolute world to her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial Saturday July 5, 2014 at 11:00 am in St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham.
