EDITH M. DALEY Latham- Edith M. Daley, 87 of Latham, beloved wife of the late Paul J. Daley, died Friday, June 27, 2014 at her home in Latham. Born and educated in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Louise (Lanoue) Trahan. She was an Administrative Assistant, employed by the Chancellor's office at S.U.N.Y. Albany. Edith has resided in Latham since 1957 and was a communicant of St. Ambrose Church. She loved reading and the Town of Colonie Library. She loved flowers and sewing and the biggest love in her life was her grandchildren. Survivors include her children Robert (Lupita) Daley of Edgewater, MD, Richard (Kozuko) Daley of Scarsdale, NY, David (Barbara) Daley, Brian (Ann Marie) Daley of Rexford, NY and Paul Jeffrey Daley of Latham, her cousin, Emmett Green of Cohoes. She was predeceased by her Daughter, Kathleen Slaughter and her brother George Trahan A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday July 1, 2014 at 10:00 am in St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham with Rev. Anthony Barratt officiating. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Monday June 30, 2014 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham, NY. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford. Contributions to the Town of Colonie Library 629 Albany Shaker Road Loudonville, New York 12211 In memory of Edith would be appreciated.
