Obituary of Margaret M. Junco

MARGARET M. JUNCO Latham- Margaret M. Junco, 84 of Latham, beloved wife of the late Eloy M. Junco, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 26, 2014 at Albany Memorial Hospital with her loving family by her side. Born in Mechanicville on December 19, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Margherita (Coreno) Amoroso. She was married to Eloy M. Junco and the two shared a blessed union of 58 years prior to his passing on March 15, 2009. Margaret was employed with Sherwin-Williams in Colonie as an Executive Secretary for 20 years. She enjoyed cooking, reading and gardening. She truly enjoyed to travel and loved her beach vacations; she also loved trips to the Racino. Her family was the center of her life and she cherished every moment she spent with them. She is survived by her loving children: Eric Junco of Clifton Park, Debra Waite of Loudonville, Lydia (Tom) Hall of Diamond Pointe and Valerie (Jeff DePree) Junco of Niskayuna. Her 6 cherished grandchildren: Jeffrey and Casey Waite, Tyler Junco, Nathan and Marisa Hall and Spencer Junco and 2 great grandchildren: Zoe and Derek Waite as well as her Sister: Annie Rivers of Stillwater. She also leaves her 2 canine companions: Koda and Roxy. In keeping with Margaret's wishes there will no visitation or services.
