CLAUDINE HAVERLY-COSTA East Nassau - Claudine Haverly-Costa, 40 of East Nassau, beloved wife of Domenic A. Costa and cherished mother of Alysha Marie and Timothy Joseph Costa, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at St. Peter's Hospital, in Albany with her loving family by her side. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of Dolores (Shostak) Haverly and the late Brian P. "Tim" Haverly. Claudine married her beloved Domenic A. Costa on September 23, 1995. She was educated and raised in Watervliet and a graduate of Hudson Valley Community College with an Associates Degree and received her Bachelors degree at New York Institute of Technology. Claudine was Vice President of her family run business in Watervliet Advance Glass where she has worked for many years. She was an avid horse rider who loved to ride her "Lady". She was devoted to her faithful canine companions Max and Ginger. Claudine was an accomplished artist who loved to paint oil & water based paintings. Her greatest joy in life was spending as much time with her two cherished children. Survivors in addition to her husband and her mother include her loving sister Nicole (Keith) Carbon of Fort Ann, her mother in law Maria Grace (the late Salvatore) Costa, brother in law Nicholas (Debbie) Costa, sister in law Catherine (Gaetano) Tedesco and sister in law Theresa (Antonio) Pecoraro, her Uncle Neil (June) Haverly, Uncle Richard Shostak, she is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial for Claudine will be celebrated Saturday March 7, 2009 at 10:00 am at St. Patrick's Church, 515 19th Street, Watervliet with Rev. John Tallman officiating. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
