Obituary of Francis J. "DoDo" Germano

Watervliet- Frank J. "DoDo" Germano Jr., 69 of Watervliet, beloved husband of Linda A. Ross Germano died suddenly Thursday, April 10, 2014 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Francis "MooMoo" and Caroline (Delsignore) Germano. He was the Owner and Operator Popular Builders in Watervliet for many years. He was a lifelong resident of Watervliet. Frank was a former member of the United States Army Reserves from 1967-1971 where he served as a lineman. After the reserves he worked at Bendix in Green Island for several years. He enjoyed golfing and boating on Lake George. Survivors include his beloved wife and best friend of 37 years Linda A (Ross) Germano, his children Kerrie (David) Germano-Mamone, Francine Germano, Frank Germano, Francis (Aime) Drzewiecki and Jaime (Frank) Duchowny all of Watervliet, his cherished grandchildren, Jeffrey, Devyn, Lauren, Beau, Amber, and Jessie. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother Christopher "Kippy" Germano and sister Patricia Germano. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Monday April 14, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church 2416 7th Avenue Watervliet with Rev. Edward Deimeke officiating.
