JUDITH FRASER
Cohoes- Judith Fraser, 71 of Cohoes, beloved wife of Francis E. "Frank" Fraser, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Albany Memorial Hospital, in Albany.
Born in Albany on December 27, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Andrew P. and Leora (Bonesteel) Nicpon. She was a graduate of St. Casmir's Academy in Albany and then attended airline school in Hartford, Ct. Judith married Francis "Frank" Fraser on August 21, 1965 and the two shared a blessed union of 48 years prior to her passing.
At one time she was a Reservation Agent, employed with Mohawk Airlines in Syracuse. She was also a charter member of Sweet Adeline's Choir for over 35 years. Judith enjoyed figure skating and was an avid New York Yankee fan.
In addition to her beloved husband she is survived by her loving children; John (Ann) Fraser and Linda (Dan) Kulik both of Buffalo her cherished grandson Calvin Kulik as well as her 3 brothers; John Nicpon of Valatie, Peter (Jackie) Nicpon of Albany and Andy (Ellen) Nicpon of Latham.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call Thursday December 19, 2013 from 4-6 pm at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham.
Funeral services will be held Thursday evening at 6:00 pm at the funeral home immediately following the visitation with Fr. Anthony Barratt officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Sweet Adeline's or the Capital Land Chorus Group.
Interment will take place in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Albany at the convenience of the family.
