Obituary of Edith E. Bacucci

EDITH E. BACUCCI Latham- Edith E. Bacucci, 76 of Latham, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 25, 2013 at Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter's, in Albany. Born in Rome New York, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Edith (Mabb) Dunn. Edith worked for over 25 years in the trucking industry, first with Vogel Van Lines and then with Tanney's Motor Transportation. She retired from the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance and Sears and Roebuck after 17 years. Having lived in Latham for over 45 years, she enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, crocheting and spending time with her cherished companion pets, Nick and Cleo. Edith is survived by her loving children; Darlene (John) Stefani of Guilderland, Herbert (Karen) J. Ego of Victor, NY and Edie (AJ) Rinella of Latham, her cherished grandchildren; John, Nicholas and Juliana Stefani, Christopher and Courtney Ego and Joseph and Alessandra Rinella as well as her sisters Linda (Peter) Dunkerley, Maxine Clancy and Debra (Dan) Schleicher and sister in law Sheila Dunn and many, many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her siblings, LeRoy, Jack, James, Harley, Howard, Briggs, Keith "Skip", Olive Arrowsmith, Mildred, Margaret and Virginia Nelson. A memorial service for Edith will be celebrated on Saturday November 30, 2013 at 11:00 am at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Pastor David Dietsche will officiate.
