Obituary of Theresa L. Scott

THERESA L. SCOTT Downingtown- Theresa L. Scott, 90 of Downingtown Pennsylvania and formerly of Cohoes, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Tuesday, November 12, 2013. Born in Cohoes on September 12, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Aldea Soulier. Theresa was married to Thomas Francis Scott on May 20, 1950 and the two shared a blessed union of love devotion prior to his passing in 2001. Theresa was a self-employed hairdresser, a successful business she operated from her home in Boght Corners for over 40 years. She was also a communicant at St. Ambrose Church in Latham before moving to Downingtown, PA, three years ago. She is survived by her loving daughter; Barbara Ann (Peter) Knoop of Kennett Square, Pa. She cherished in her heart the memory of her son, Patrick Denenny who passed away in 2000. She is also survived by her 7 cherished grandchildren; James Denenny, Colleen Sanchez, Shannan, Theodore, Randolph, Robert and Elizabeth Knoop and 10 adored great grandchildren; Austen, Brianna, Isabella, Tyler, Veronica, Sebastian, Kylie, Penelope, Lennon and Hudson as well as her brother Leo Soulier of Syracuse and several nieces and nephews. Theresa is predeceased by her first husband James Denenny and her brother Francis Soulier. A memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday November 23, 2013 at 10:00 am at St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc. of Northeastern, NY, Pine West Plaza, Washington Ave. Ext, Suite 204, Albany, NY 12205 Interment will take place with her beloved Thomas in St. Mary's Cemetery, Waterford.
