Obituary of Lenora M. Moore

LENORA M. MOORE Delanson- Lenora M. Moore, 69 of Delanson, beloved wife of the late Ronald H. Moore Sr., entered into eternal life on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the Glendale Home in Scotia surrounded by her loving family. Born and educated in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Edmund and Josephine (Moran) Emory. Lenora was a homemaker who greatly enjoyed raising her 7 children. She formerly ran a cleaning service with her late husband and had worked for Fuller Brush for several years. She loved Elvis, crocheting & crafts of all types. Lenora formerly was a volunteer for the Community Hospice of Albany for many years. Survivors include her loving children Ronald H. (Mary) Moore Jr. of PA, Lenora (Dave) Jankowski of Knox, Edmund (Stacey) Moore of Esperance, Ruth (Mitch) Scheffelmaer of MT, Michael (Cheryl) Moore of Schenectady, William (Lisa) Moore of Esperance, and Jeffrey Moore of Guilderland Center. She is survived by 30 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Lenora is also survived by her sisters Margaret (Michael) Winnie of Stuyvesant, and Mary Truesell of East Greenbush. She was predeceased by her brother Edmund A. Emory. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 am in the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham with Rev. Nick TeBordo officiating. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Thursday from 4-7 pm at the funeral home Interment will be next to her husband in Evergreen Memorial Park in Colonie.
