LORA ANNE STAGE Latham- Lora Anne Stage, 83 of Latham, beloved wife of the late John "Jack" Stage, passed away peacefully on Sunday April 28, 2013 at Daughters of Sarah in Albany. . Born in New York City on March 13, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Tatti) Catale. Lora and Jack were joined in marriage on May 23, 1954 and shared a blessed union of 52 prior to his passing in 2006. At one time they lived in Rockland County, Long Island, Liverpool and Binghamton. She held various secretarial positions throughout the years. Lora was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Latham for the past 7 years and previously at Our Lady of Sorrows in Vestal for 30 years. She was a loving and dedicated homemaker whose family and her faith were the utmost of priorities in her life. Lora is survived by her loving children: Susan and Scott Groudine of Latham, John Stage of New York, NY and Anne and Jeffrey Timmons of PA as well as her cherished grandchildren: Jake and Luke Timmons, Stephen and Lauren Groudine, Brian Groudine, Laura Groudine and Dylan Stage and her adored Great Grandson Evan Groudine. She was also survived by her sister of Joan Gerace and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her daughter Donna, her sister Marie and her brothers Anthony and Joseph. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. in the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday May 2, 2013 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Latham. Interment will take place in Riverhurst Cemetery in Endicott at the convenience of the family In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. The family would like to offer a special thank you to the nurses and aides at the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home for their loving care given to Lora during her stay with them.
