Obituary of Lorraine J. Muckey

Clifton Park- Lorraine J. Muckey 83, of Clifton Park and beloved wife of James F. Muckey for over 64 years passed away peacefully on Saturday March 30, 2013 at the Teresian House in Albany.
Born January 21st 1930, in Gouverneur, NY, Lorraine was the daughter of the late Earl and Mildred Gillette Fahsel.
Lorraine was a book keeper for various companies in New York and Massachusetts until her retirement in 1988. She enjoyed reading traveling, shopping, working, cryptogram puzzles and bingo.
Survivors in addition to her husband include their children Bonita L "Bonnie" (Steven) Ludington of Latham and Rene A. (Martin) Tromblee of Colonie. Survivors also include Lorraine's 5- grandchildren Tamara (Richard Sr.) Mesier, Cissy (Todd) Murphy, James Nealand, Regan (Christopher) Cardona and Martin (Kyle) Tromblee, 9-great-grandchildren Marissa & Richard Jr. Messier, Brittney Nealand, Connor & Ryan Benoit, Lacey & Rose Cardona, Elaina and Caroline Tromblee, 2-great-great grandchildren Cameron Ishak-Messier & Jayden Messier.
She was pre-deceased by her siblings Addison Fahsel, Earl Fahsel Jr, Ernest Fahsel and Shirley Zimmer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday April 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in The Teresian House Chapel 200 Washington Ave. Ext. Albany.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Teresian House on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Interment will take place at Memory's Garden, Colonie.
Lorraine's family wishes to extend their appreciation to the Carmelite Sisters and the entire staff at the Teresian House for their dedication to the loving care given to Lorraine during her lengthy stay there. We want to express our special gratitude to the nurses and aides on 3A for the personal attention given her during that time. Thank you so much.
