ROBERT R. GLOMB Loudonville- Robert R. Glomb, 81 of Loudonville, passed away peacefully on Sunday March 24, 2013 with his loving family by his side. Born in Philadelphia, PA, on February 20, 1932, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Anna (Smith) Glomb. Robert proudly served in the US Army. Robert was employed with General Motors in Cleveland as a Machinist for over 12 years. He then took a position also as a Machinist with VanDorn in Ohio, a position he eventually retired from after 10 years of service to the company. He has a love for animals, especially dogs. He is survived by his loving children: Rosemary (John) Morris of Loudonville, Margaret (Daniel) Breslau of VA and Janet (David) Laird of WA as well as 8 cherished grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He is pre-deceased by many siblings. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham. Funeral services & military honors will be held at 6:00 p.m. immediately following the visitation at the funeral home.
