Obituary of Shirley Ann Burnett

SHIRLEY ANN BURNETT Latham- Shirley Ann Burnett, 77, of Latham and formerly of Watervliet, beloved wife of the late Dale A. Burnett, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 7, 2013 at Riverside Nursing Center in Castleton. Born on June 11, 1935 in Schenectady, She was the daughter of the late Harry Stuart and Effa M. (Faulkner) Giles. Shirley was a graduate of Waterford High School class of 1953. Shirley was a Head Bookkeeper, employed with Price Chopper in Latham, retiring after 21 years of dedicated service. She then worked at Quality Foods Corporate office for over 10 years. She is survived by her sister-in-law Linda Hart of South Glens Falls, brother-in-law Lindon Burnett of Oldsmar, Fl, special cousin Sheila Dybowski of Hudson Falls, nieces and nephews Donald, Michael, Colleen, Laurie, Patrick, Bobbi Lynn, Robert, Rachael, Dylan, Cathy and Michael. . Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Saturday March 9, 2013 from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Shirley's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday March 9 at 11:00 am at St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Interment will take place at Memory's Garden, Colonie.
