FREDERICK W. STREHLER JR.
Latham- Frederick W. Strehler Jr., 89, a longtime resident of Latham, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 21, 2013 in the comfort of his home.
Fred was born June 16, 1923 and was the son of the late Frederick W. and Anna (Wormer) Strehler Sr. He proudly served during World War II as an Engineer in the US Army.
Fred was employed with Montgomery Wards in Menands as a Salesman for 30 years. He also worked in the Maintenance Dept. for many years with the North Colonie School District.
He is survived by his children: Frederick W. Strehler III of Delanson and Kim Roy of SC as well as his grandson; Scott Roy
There will be no visitation.
Burial will take place in at the convenience of the family.
