Obituary of Yolanda A. Bobrinitz

YOLANDA A. BOBRINITZ Latham- Yolanda A. Bobrinitz, 92 formerly a resident of Latham, currently a resident of the Teresian House, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2012 at the Teresian House. Born in Troy on December 9, 1920 she was the daughter of the late Michael and Alfosina (DeSina) DeBonis. It was on November 25, 1943 that she was married to Stephen Bobrinitz, the love and devotion they shared with each other, lasted for 67 years prior to his passing in February of 2010. She was employed with Cluett & Peabody in Troy for 43 years as a machine operator retiring in 1982. She was a communicant of St. Ambrose church in Latham. Yolanda was a member of the Spiegel Elders in Spiegeltown. She volunteered at Our Lady of Hope Residence in Latham for many years. She enjoyed bowling, bocci, golf and traveling with her husband Steve. Yolanda is survived by her loving children: Michelle (Tom) McCarthy of Guilderland and Stephen John Bobrinitz of Sudbury, MA as well as her cherished grandson Timothy Patrick McCarthy PHD and her sister Virginia Iachetti of Latham and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sisters: Angeline Bottillo and Anne Valentini. Relatives and friends are invited and may call from 4-7 pm on Wednesday at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday December 20, 2012 at 11:00 am at The Teresian House 200 Washington Avenue Ext. Albany, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Yolanda's memory to the Teresian House 200 Washington Ave. Ext. Albany, NY 12203 Interment will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum, Troy.
