GERALD J. PINCHINAT
Latham-Gerald J. Pinchinat Sr., 56, of Latham NY graduated to heaven on Friday, November 16, 2012 at Albany Memorial Hospital. Gerald was born February 4, 1956 in Cap-Haitien, Haiti to Joseph Al Gerard and Rosie Pinchinat. He was the oldest of 8 children. He received his master's degree from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in education. On June 7, 1986 Gerald married his soul mate his dear wife Maude with whom he had a faithful loving marriage of 26 years. Gerald and Maude was blessed with 5 anointed children Melissa, Gerald Jr., Matthew, Sarah and Joshua; his siblings Jessie Romain, Harry, Yanick, Rose, Marly, Youdeline & Raphael Pinchinat.
To his children, a loving dedicated father. To his wife, a loving husband. To his students, Gerald was a dedicated teacher, and an outstanding educator, he promoted education and mentored his students to reach their potential. To his church family, Gerald was a faithful man of God. To his community a champion for the poor and needy.
Gerald was born again at The Bible Church of Christ and accepted Jesus Christ as his LORD and Saviour where he received the Holy Ghost by the laying of hands with the evidence of speaking in tongue. He was transformed unto a new man filled with the power of the LORD. As such he was true worshipper of Jesus Christ whom he worshiped in spirit and in truth. Gerald lived his life with eternity in mind, fully persuaded by the WORD of God to be absent in this body is to be present with the LORD. His life was dedicated to service unto the LORD. He was ordained as a Teacher, and a Deacon at The Bible Church of Christ inc., where he ministered faithfully either preaching, teaching, praying, officiating services, praising, outreach, cleaning and whatever was needed to get the job done. In addition, he served as the church administrator and co- founder of the food pantry of the Bible Church of Christ of Schenectady NY. Gerald embraced the Love of God and was faithful to his call: Moreover it is required in stewardship that a man be found faithful. Gerald agreed with the scriptures the just shall live by his faith and lived his life accordingly.
As the scriptures declare, Well done thou good and faithful servant enter thou unto the rest of the LORD. Gerald had fought the good fight of faith henceforth a crown of righteousness has been laid for him.
Gerald had a heart for the community as shown through his service at the Bible Church of Christ. His desire to provide school and food supplies for families in need prompted him to start a food pantry at the Bible Church of Christ in Schenectady. As such he drafted and orchestrated an agreement to obtain various supplies from organizations such as Price Chopper, Stewarts & Freihoffers. He was not only involved with the collections of the donated items but the distribution as well. When the need of the community was greater than the donations received, Gerald would use his personal funds to accomplish the goal.

The last sermon he preached; For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
