Obituary of Harry C. Odabashian Sr.

HARRY C. ODABASHIAN SR. Loudonville- Harry C. Odabashian Sr, 95 of Loudonville, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 21, 2012 in the comfort of his home with his loving family by his side. Born in Albany on November 19, 1916, he was the son of the late Charles and Rose (Kasabian) Odabashian. Harry was married to the former Natalie Finin with whom he shared a blessed union of 67 years together. He proudly served in the US Navy during World War II. Harry was the owner and operator of DeLux Tailors & Cleaners in Albany. He was also a member of the Wadsworth Masonic Lodge #0417 in Albany and a Life Member of the Rensselaer Elks Lodge # 2073 and former member of the VFW. In addition to his beloved wife he is survived by his loving son: Dr. Harry C. (Kathleen) Odabashian Jr. of Menands and his cherished grandchildren: Dr. Kirsten O. (Michael) Healy, Kraig H. Odabashian, Daniel B. (Deirdre Brodie) Odabashian and his adored great grandchildren Claire K. & Aerin M. Healy, several nieces and nephews and his sister in law Joan F. Boul of Rensselaer. Harry is predeceased by his sister and brother Virgina and John Odabashian. In keeping with his wishes the visitation and services will be private. Interment will take place in Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home in Latham.
