ANNE E. MITOLA
Latham- Anne E. Mitola, 87, of Latham, beloved wife of the late Donald R. Mitola Sr., passed away peacefully on Monday, July 30, 2012 at Albany Medical Center with her loving family by her side.
Born & educated in Watervliet on November 22, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Charles J. and Mary Agnes (Martin) Nolan. She graduated from St. Patrick's Elementary and Watervliet High School in 1942.
At one time Anne worked for the NYS Division of Military & Naval Affairs in Albany. She then was devoted to her family as a loving and dedicated homemaker.
Anne is survived by her loving children: Donald R Mitola, Jr. of Saratoga Springs, Dennis J. (Candy) Mitola of Latham, Sandra M. (Daniel) Marcus of Vero Beach, FL, Kathleen M. (William) Wiley of Latham, Sharon M. (Donald) Hodges of Loudonville, MaryLee (Todd) Bull of Port Colborne, Ontario Canada, Joseph M. (Janis) Mitola of Latham and Patrick (Robin) J. Mitola of Lancaster, NY,
as well as her 15 cherished Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren and her sister in law Geri Nolan of Latham and 4 nieces.
She was predeceased by her brothers: Charles Nolan Jr. & Robert Nolan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday August 2 at 9:00 am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Latham. Fr. Geoffrey Burke will officiate.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Wednesday August 1, 2012 from 4-7 pm at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Anne's memory to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 1 Computer Dr. S. #104, Albany, NY 12205.
Interment will take place next to her husband in Memory's Garden, Colonie.
