Obituary of Carolyn J. La Spisa

CAROLYN J. LA SPISA Clifton Park- Carolyn J. (Knott)(Barthel) La Spisa of Clifton Park, beloved wife of Joseph La Spisa, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 10 at Ellis Hospital, in Schenectady. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late John P. and Nancy K. (Cavanaugh) Knott. Carolyn was married to Joseph La Spisa and the two shared a blessed union of over 26 years together. At one time she was employed with Samaritan Hospital as an Operating Room Technician. She then left the workforce to tend to her family as a dedicated & loving homemaker. In addition to her beloved husband she is survived by her mother Nancy Ure of Troy and step son D. Lansing Barthel. Carolyn is predeceased by her Son: John D. Barthel and her husband Donald H. Barthel. Funeral services will be held Saturday July 14, 2012 at 10:00 am at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Rev Nick Tebordo officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to call Friday July 13 from 4-6 pm at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Interment will take place in St. Peter's Cemetery, Troy.
