GERALDINE C. COSTELLO Latham- Geraldine C. "Gerry" Costello, 64 of Latham, died Thursday, January 8, 2009 at Samaritan Hospital, in Troy. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Robert and the late Margaret (Hurley) Costello. She was a graduate of South Colonie High School. She was employed by the New York State Taxation Department as a Secretary for many years. Gerry enjoyed her bingo buddies at the Troy Atrium. She was currently a resident of the Eddy-Ford in Cohoes. Survivors include her son Andrew Czjakowski, four sisters Julia 'Judy" A. Couch of Latham, Donna Darmetko, Joan Minnick, Patricia Vincent and one brother: Robert Costello Gerry was predeceased by her sisters Eileen Shellard and Catherine Roy and brothers, Charles Costello and George Costello. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home 149 Old Loudon Rd. Latham, on Monday January 12, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. a memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Geoffrey Burke officiating.
