Obituary of Robert H. Dittrich

ROBERT H. DITTRICH Latham- Robert H. Dittrich, 88 of Latham, beloved husband of Patricia E. Dittrich, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Eddy Village Green, in Cohoes. Born in Endicott, NY on December 11, 1923, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Eleanor (Kimble) Dittrich. He was married to the former Patricia E. Sheehan and the two shared a blessed union of 67 years prior to his passing. Robert was a Self-Employed Distributer with Air Kem of ENY in Latham for over 40 years, retiring in 1965. Prior to that in 1950's he owned & operated the Lakes Theatre in Interlaken, NY. In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his loving children: Eileen (Larry) P. Cramer of Schroon Lake and R. Gary (Barbara) Dittrich of Cape Cod, MA. as well as his 5 cherished grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren. He cherished in his heart the memory of his son Michael Todd Dittrich who passed away in 2009. Relatives and friends are invited to call Friday March 23 from 4-6 pm at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Funeral services will be held Friday at 6:00 pm immediately following the visitation. Fr. Geoffrey Burke will officiate.
