RICHARD A. TYSON Las Vegas-Richard A. Tyson, 69 of Las Vegas entered into eternal life on January 23, 2012 at Hospice in Las Vegas Hospital. Born in Watervliet on July 27, 1942, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Elizabeth Evans Tyson. For many years Richard worked for Brockway Trucks in Menands as a Master Mechanic. For a hobby he enjoyed stock car racing and enjoyed his time at Lebanon Valley Speedway. Richard served his country proudly for four years in the United States Navy. On November 16, 1968, he married Lucille Johnston at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Cohoes. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Richard, Jamie and Andrew, his sister Janeth E. Tyson, and his brother: Robert E. (Carolyn) Tyson, two grandchildren Zachary and Natalia as well as several nieces and nephew. He was predeceased by his brother William E. and sister Joan E. Tyson. Funeral services were held in Las Vegas. Memorial contributions to the Community Hospice 445 New Karner Rd. Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Richard A. Tyson would be appreciated.
