Obituary of Dolores M. Pemberton

DOLORES M. PEMBERTON Latham- Dolores "Del" M. Pemberton, 82 of Latham, beloved wife of Robert E. Pemberton, is finally free from her 17 year battle with Alzheimer's disease and is with her Lord and Savior. Dolores passed on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Daughters of Sarah Nursing Center in Albany. Born in Albany on August 16, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Walter J. and Iva (Hallenback) Fanning. Dolores was married to Robert E. Pemberton for 64 blessed years. She was a loving and dedicated homemaker. Del was also a member of the Niverville Fire Dept. Auxiliary as well as the Fuller Road Fire Dept. Auxiliary & Christian Women's Club. She was very active in the church, was a student of the Bible and witness & servant of Jesus Christ. The family would like to thank their family, friends & caregivers as well as the staff at the Daughters of Sarah for their love and care. In additional to her beloved husband Robert, Del is survived by her loving children: Deborah (Michael) A. Szesnat of Latham & Kenneth Scott Pemberton of Mayfield as well as her 5 cherished grandchildren: Michael "Pauly" (Corinne) Szesnat Jr., Joshua (Abby) Pemberton, Morgan Szesnat, Miranda & Zachary Cote and great grandchildren: Michael III, Annissa, Christian & Selena Szesnat and Cameron Medina. She is predeceased by her son: Robert Michael Pemberton & sister: Elizabeth Kircher.
