Obituary of Mary A. Maswick

Loudonville- Mary A. Maswick, 88 of Loudonville, beloved wife of the late Paul Maswick, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home with her loving family by her side on Sunday, January 15, 2012. Born on June 6, 1923 and raised in Mechanicville, she was the daughter of the late James and Antonette (Mastroianni) Malone. She was a 1941 graduate of Mechanicville High School. Mary was employed at one time with Cluett & Peabody in Troy as a Machine Operator. She was a member of the Colonie Senior Citizens and a parishioner of St. Pius X Church in Loudonville. Mary is survived by her loving children: Barbara I. Grimes of Montauk, NY, David (Juanita Garry) P. Maswick of Ballston Spa & Robert (Janice Harper) J. Maswick of Lake Placid, her cherished grandchildren: James L. Maswick, Noah E. & Lee A. Grimes as well as her sisters Josephine Luciano of Mechanicville & Marcia Derrico of Placentia, CA. as well as many nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers Dominick & Thomas Malone. Relatives and friends are invited to call Friday January 20, 2012 from 4-7 pm at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday January 21, at 11:00 am at St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumitie Road, Loudonville. Interment will take place Monday January 23, 2012 alongside her husband in Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville at 11:00 a.m. Due to cemetery regulations limiting floral displays, those who wish to do so may make memorial contributions in Mary's honor to the Community Hospice 445 New Karner Rd.
