JOAN M. LAJEUNESSE Latham- Joan M. Lajeunesse, 82 of Latham, beloved wife of Arthur E. Lajeunesse, entered into eternal life on Monday, October 31, 2011 at Diamond Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, in Troy. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Panza) Ceglia. Mrs. Lajeunesse married Arthur Lajeunesse at St. Anthon's Church in Troy and the two have shared a blessed union of over 54 years. She was a communicant of St. Ambrose Church in Latham. Joan was employed by the New York State Taxation & Finance in Albany for over 25 years until retiring in 1995. She has resided in Latham for over 23 years. Survivors in addition to her husband include her Children Jeanne Lajeunesse of Saratoga, and Arthur P Lajeunesse of Latham, her dear sister Eleanor (John) Guzy of Latham and brother: Paul Ceglia of Florida, she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday November 3, 2011 at 9:00 am in St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham with Rev. Francis DuBois officiating. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Wednesday from 4-6 pm at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Waterford.
