DAVID C. MAXWELL Latham- David C. Maxwell, 66, of Latham, NY, passed away at home on Thursday, September 15, 2011. Born in Cobleskill, NY, he was the son of the late Woodrow and Mary Gibbons Maxwell. David graduated from Cobleskill High School in 1963 and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Pace University in 1967 and a Master of Science in Education from the State University at Albany in 1972. He spent his entire career in education and retired in 2005 after 31 years as a business teacher at Watervliet High School. David is survived by his beloved wife of more than 38 years, Kristine D. Maxwell, and their two daughters, Anne Maxwell Foster (Ryan) and Katherine E. Maxwell, both of New York; his brother Woodrow J. Maxwell (Karen) of Rensselaer, his sister Mary Anne Yates (John) of Delmar; 6 nieces and nephews; his uncle Roger Maxwell (Helen) of Middleburgh; several cousins; and many friends and colleagues from Hunter Motor Coach, Sodus Junior-Senior High School, and Watervliet High School. Calling hours will be held at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham on Sunday, September 18 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church, 10 Lodge Street, Albany on Monday, September 19 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow the Mass at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 29 Delatour Road, Watervliet.
