DAVID L. MARSHALL Albany- David L. Marshall, 74 of Albany, and formerly of Manchester, CT, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, December 24, 2008 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, with his loving children by his side. Born in Hartford, CT on December 21, 1934, he was the son of the late David and Elizabeth (MacLachlan) Marshall, Jr. He was married to the former Bernice Roy on October 16, 1965. The two were happily married prior to her passing in 1992. He proudly served his country in the US Army. David was employed by Ferranti International Inc. of Chicago, a position he retired from in 1990 after over 30 years in sales. He was a member of the Manchester Country Club, First Presbyterian Church in Hartford, CT as well as serving as past President of the Mt. Laurel Ski Club. He had a love for golf, fishing and jazz music. His personality and sense of humor will always be remembered. He especially enjoyed spending time in the company of his family and friends. He is survived by his loving children: David C. Marshall and his wife Karen of Woodstock, CT, Jessica Kaercher and her husband Mark of Latham, NY as well as his 3 cherished grandchildren Cameron & Elizabeth Kaercher and Drew Marshall. He is also survived by his brother George C. Marshall and his wife Margretta of Homosassa, FL and many beloved nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will take place on January 17, 2009 at the First Presbyterian Church in Hartford, CT.
