SHARON A. DAME
Loudonville- Sharon A. Dame, 65 of Loudonville, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, August 15 at Community Hospice at Memorial Hospital, Albany.
Born in Cohoes on November 26, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Nestork) Smith. She was married to the late James L. Dame Sr. and the two shared a blessed union of 37 years prior to his passing in 2002.
She was employed for many years with various law firms in the Capital District as a legal secretary, a position she eventually retired from. Sharon enjoyed fishing on her boat, gardening and travelling as well as her fish ponds at her home. But what brought her the greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her loving children: James (Kristy) Dame Jr. of Altamont, Suzanne (Mark) Styno of Colonie and Lisa (Edward) Spaulding of Jericho, VT as well as her 3 cherished grandchildren: Amanda, Andrew & Julia Dame, her sister: June (Michael) Lavigna and her special friend David Streeter of Burlington, VT and several nieces & nephews.
The family wishes to thank the Staff of NYOH for their care and also to the nurses at Memorial Hospital & Community Hospice for their love and compassion.
