I was in grade school with Almeron at Latham School. I have a hazy recollection of Al preparing for his First Communion & a bunch of us going into the his church (I don't think it was Assumption)after school. It was the first time this little Baptist girl had ever been in a Catholic church. Do any of you remember that? Surely I didn't dream it up. Blessings--Vicki

The fondest memory I have of Al, is when we wereon the school bus headed to Philip Livingston Jr. High in Albany for the very first day of school....he said to me, "Barb, I'm really kind of scared of this." I agreed!!!! This was our first time hitting the big new world after 6 yrs. in Latham elementary!! But, lo' & behold, we made friends and had a pretty good time. I know he will be missed dearly by his family and my thoughts and prayers are with you all!!! I have fond memories and I am very sad at his passing! Barbara Granger Tomei
