JEANNETTE R. DUFORT
Latham- Jeannette R. Dufort, 79 of Latham, beloved wife of the late Edward V. Dufort, Jr., passed away Friday, July 29 at Eddy Heritage House in Troy where she currently was a resident.
Born in Cohoes on December 10, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Laurent A. and Rachel (Baillargeon) Benoit. Jeanette was married to Edward Dufort Jr. and had a blessed union prior to his passing in 2003
Jeannette was a loving and dedicated homemaker who family meant everything to her. She was a communicant of St. Ambrose Church in Latham where she was a member of the choir, a lector and member of the Mom's at Home Club.
She is survived by her loving children: Catherine (Russell) Boudreau of Latham, Jeanne (Pat) Dufort of Georgia, Margaret McNamara of CA, Amy (Ted) Clairmont of Texas, Patricia (Mark) Meyers of Clifton Park, Kenneth E. Dufort of Vermont & Michael L. Dufort of Latham. 16 cherished grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren as well as her brother Raymond Benoit of Clifton Park and several nieces and nephews
Jeanette is predeceased by her brother: Donald Benoit
Relatives and friends are invited to call Tuesday August 2 from 4-7 pm at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday August 3 at 9:00 am at St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Hermits of Carmel, 80 Pleasant Hill Rd., Chester, NJ 07930
Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery Of Cohoes, Waterford.
