Obituary of Julie Ellrott

JULIE ELLROTT Latham- Julie Mackiewicz Ellrott, 89, of Latham, beloved wife of the late Lawrence G. Ellrott, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Albany Memorial Hospital. Born in Niskayuna, she was the daughter of the late Walter and the late Julianna (Milewska) Mackiewicz. She was employed by the General Electric Company in Schenectady in the 1940's and then became a full- time mother taking care of her cherished family. She has been a Latham resident since 1947. Julie loved vacationing with her family and friends in the beautiful state of Maine. Survivors include her loving children Stephen (Donna) Ellrott of Cohoes, Kathleen (the Late Barry) Jewett of Cohoes, Kenneth (Aine Greaney) Ellrott of Newburyport, MA, her cherished grandchildren Eric Bouchard, Karen Bouchard, Jason Ellrott, Brian Ellrott, Joshua Jewett and Ambur Jewett. She was predeceased by her daughter, Judith Ellrott Bouchard and is also survived by her brother Walter Mackiewicz and sister Rosemary LaFreniere of Schenectady and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday June 18, 2011 at 9:00 am in the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham with Rev. Geoffrey Burke officiating. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday from 4-7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be next to her late husband in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie.
