KENNETH R. MEYER
Watervliet- Kenneth R. Meyer, 56, a lifelong resident of Watervliet, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening December 10, 2008 at Albany Medical Center.
Born in Troy on August 29, 1952, he was the son of the late Gerald C. and Joan (Connolly) Meyer.
He was a graduate of Catholic Central High School class of 1971.
At one time Ken was employed by Transworld Entertainment for several years. He also worked as a disc jockey in many local radio stations. He was a former communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Watervliet.
Ken is survived by his loving brothers and sister Gerald E. (Chris) Meyer of Rexford, Judy A. (Tom) DelCogliano of Brunswick and and Daniel J. (Janice) Meyer of Watervliet as well as his Uncle & Aunt Harry & Anne Meyer and his cherished nieces & nephews; Lauren DelCogliano, Thomas DelCogliano, Kelsey DelCogliano, Rachel Meyer, Natalie Meyer and Abigail Meyer he is also survived by several cousins.
Funeral Services for Ken will be held Monday at 9:00 am in St. Patrick's Church, 515 19th Street, Watervliet where his Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Edward Deimeke
Relatives and friends are invited to call Sunday from 4-7 P.M. at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham, NY.
Interment will take place in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Watervliet.
