Please share a memory of Robert to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
SCOTT TRUDEAU Watervliet- Scott Trudeau, 54, died Wednesday night in the arms of his family and in prayer to our Lord Jesus Christ. He died as he lived his whole life, in peace. Scott is the second son of Robert and Marylee Trudeau of Latham. In addition to his parents Scott is survived by his sister Lisa and her husband Morris, brothers Jeffree, Mark and his wife Kathy, Bart and his wife Patricia; nine nieces and nephews, Aaron, Dana, Jarrett, Simon, Sage, Carlee, Adam, Kelley and Daniel; 4 grand nieces and nephews Monica, Justin, Mary and Rose and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Scott worked for the NYS Office of General Services for 30 years. He also loved working at Faddegon's Nursery and spoke of it often. His greatest passion was people. Nothing made his day better than to smile and share a laugh with everyone he met. At the Center for Disability Services Scott made many deep friendships and he loved them all dearly. He loved bowling and watching his favorite football team, the New York Giants. Classic Rock and Roll, a Coke and a pizza made his day complete. As a young man Scott, along with his Dad, raised rabbits handed down to him by his brother Jeff. This past Christmas Scott gave his family this message, "In Joy Life" an expression of how he lived each day. He lived in Watervliet and attended Mass at St. Ambrose Church, Latham and St. Patrick's Church, Watervliet. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ambrose Church in Latham on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Viewing will take place on Monday, April 18, 2011 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home 149 Old Loudon Rd. Latham. In lieu of Flowers, Scott and his family requests donations be made to The Little Sisters of the Poor, 1 Jeanne Jugan Lane, Latham, NY 12110 or The Center for Disability Services, 314 South Manning Boulevard, Albany, New York, 12208.
