PATRICIA F. DEMO
Loudonville- Patricia F. Demo, 83 of Loudonville, beloved wife of the late Benjamin F. Demo, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at St. Peter's Hospital, in Albany.
Born in Croghan NY on February 22, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Glen and Kathryn (Bintz) Finn. She was married to Benjamin F. Demo on September 9, 1950 and the two shared a blessed union of 59 years prior to his passing in 2009
Patricia was employed as a secretary during WWII at Ft. Drum in Watertown which formerly was Pine Camp. She then took a position as a Secretary with Sears-Roebuck in Colonie; a position she retired from after many years of service.
She truly enjoyed working with crafts and especially painting and was a member of the Colonie Art League. She also enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and gardening.
Patricia is survived by her loving children: Benjamin (Anna) Demo of Slingerlands, Samuel (Kathi) Demo of Malone, NY and Nancy (David) Rogers of Loudonville. And her cherished grandchildren: Jeremy (Susan) & Rachael Crim, Rita & Leah Demo, and Zachary & Kathryn Rogers. As well as her Sister Rosemary MacKenzie of Kernersville, NC, and son in law Jonathan Crim
She cherished in her heart the memory of her predeceased daughter, Mary Kay Crim and her brother Paul Finn
Relatives and friends are invited to and may call on Thursday February 3, 2011 from 4-6 pm at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Rd., Loudonville, NY 12211 or to the American Heart Association 440 New Karner Rd., Latham, NY 12205
Inurnment will take place at a later date at St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery, Belfort, NY
