JANE W. ROBINSON Latham- Jane W. Robinson, 81 of Latham, passed away into the arms of the Lord on Sunday, January 16, at Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter's. Born in Troy on October 9, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Carrie (Newton) Wells. She was married to George S. Robinson Jr. and the two shared a blessed union of love and devotion prior to his passing in 1988. Jane was a loving and dedicated homemaker, her life revolved around her entire family and she said that her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren & great great grandchild, were truly her passion. She was an avid bridge player, playing in 2 bridge leagues. She loved the game of golf and was proud of her 2 holes in one and bowling. Jane was also a longtime member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Latham. She is survived by her loving children: Susan (Gerald) Marchese of Queensbury, Nancy (Vincent) Mongato of Guilderland & Timothy Robinson of Arizona. Her cherished grandchildren: Wesley & Blake Robinson, Jason (Nicole) Marchese, Brian (Virginia) Marchese, Lacey Jayne Mongato, John Thomas White, her great grandchildren Penelope, Jael & Scottie Martich and Ava Jane Marchese as well as her 4 sisters: Cora May (Robert) Howe of Bennington, Carolyn (William) Walsh of Ohio, Patsy (Jack) Maddigan of Hamburg, NY & Barbara (Richard) Hadsell of Buffalo her brother in laws Edward Crowley and William Qunilan and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sisters: Marcia Wells, Nancy Crowley & Peg Quinlan. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Thursday from 3:30-6:30 pm at Calvary United Methodist Church, Belle Avenue, Latham. A celebration of Jane's life will commence at 6:30 pm immediately following the visitation.
