Obituary of Bonnie Jo Sheedy

BONNIE JO SHEEDY Loudonville-Bonnie Jo (McDermott) Sheedy, of Loudonville, went peacefully to the Lord early on Friday December 24, 2010 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Syracuse, NY Bonnie was the daughter of the late Joseph E. and M. Jean (Wyman) McDermott. A graduate of St. Bonaventure University, Bonnie worked as a teacher at St. Pius X School for many years and more recently as a chemist for the NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets before her retirement. Bonnie is survived by her husband of 36 years Robert M. Sheedy, son Robert J. Sheedy of Hudson, daughters Erin M. Sheedy of Loudonville and Christina B. Sheedy of Durham, NC, also surviving are her sister Kathleen M. Klee of Falconer, NY and brother Dennis J. McDermott of Matamoras, PA, aunts, uncles and numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday December 28, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumitie Road, Loudonville with Rev. Michael Farano officiating. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Monday from 4-7 pm at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
