Obituary of Joy K. Bryk

JOY K. HART BRYK Bradenton Florida- Joy K. Hart Bryk, 75 of Bradenton Fl formerly of Latham, beloved wife of William Zygmunt Bryk., entered into eternal life on Friday, December 10, 2010 at the Blake Medical Center in Bradenton. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth J. and Kathleen (Bombard) Hart. Joy married her beloved William Zygmunt Bryk April 18, 1954 celebrating 56 years of marriage this year. She was a Resource Agent with the New York State Department of Mental Retardation for over 26 years retiring in 1996. Joy resided on Purtell Avenue in Latham for over 34 years and in Florida since 1997. She was a communicant of St. Ambrose Church in Latham and St. Peter and Paul the Apostle in Bradenton. She was a member of P.E.F. Retirees and enjoyed reading, cooking, water aerobics and playing on the computer. Survivors in addition to her husband include Her loving children , William M.(Mimi Kramer) Bryk of New York City, Michael W. (Lisa) Bryk of Averill Park, Kenneth H. Bryk of Orlando, FL, Henry J. Bryk of Latham, Andrew J. (Kristen) Bryk of Latham, Mary E. "Lizzy" (John Mueller) Bryk of TX and Margaret M. (Brian) Kinney of Hoosick Falls, her cherished grandchildren, Michael Bryk, Rachel Bryk, Haley Bryk, Erin Bryk, Jake Kinney, Luke Kinney and Quinn Kinney, her two sisters Sally J. Duval of Saratoga Springs, and Judith A. Hart of Green Island. She was predeceased by her brothers James K. Hart and Robert L. Hart. Funeral services will be held Thursday December 16, 2010 9:00 a.m. in St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home 149 Old Loudon Road Latham on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands.
