Obituary of Kathleen M. Paluch

KATHLEEN M. PALUCH Watervliet-Kathleen M. Paluch, 79 of Watervliet, beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Paluch., entered into eternal life on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at Albany Memorial Hospital. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Joseph L. and Florence E. (Eberle) Sikorski. Kathleen enjoyed knitting, crocheting, stamping, painting and needlepoint. She had a passion for the theater and her grandchildren's shows and performances. She loved spending time on the beaches of Maine with her family. Kathleen's most important treasures were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; every spare moment was spent with them. Survivors include her loving children Lisa A. Paluch of Watervliet, Lori A. (Richard) Henry of Middle Grove, Jay (Sharon) Paluch of Latham and David M. Paluch of Watervliet, her cherished grandchildren Carrie (Michael), Courtney, Cathleen, Ricky (Danielle), Bridget, Sydney, Spencer, Emmie and Kendall, her Great-Grandchildren Saege, Reileigh and Ryan. She is also survived by one brother Joseph Sikorski and her dear friends Jeanne Sterzinger and Mary Noble, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday December 4, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church 498 Watervliet-Shaker Rd. Latham with Rev. Geoffrey Burke officiating. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home on Friday from 3-7 p.m. Interment will be next to her husband in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Latham.
