MILDRED A. GROVENGER Niskayuna- Mildred A. Grovenger, 90 of Niskayuna, beloved wife of 55 years to the late Jacob A. Grovenger, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 20 at Eddy Village Green, in Cohoes where she was currently a resident. Born in Cohoes on May 6, 1920, she was the daughter of the late John & Michelina (Wagner) Pawlowski. At one time Millie employed as a secretary with Montgomery Wards in Menands; she then tended to her families needs as a dedicated homemaker. She is survived by her daughter in law: Barbara Grovenger, as well as her granddaughters: Kate Grovenger & Leah Gackenheimer and several nieces and nephews. Millie is predeceased by her son: Stanley Grovenger; her sister: Leona and her brothers: Edward, Joseph, Michael. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Saturday from 10:00-11:00 am at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham, NY. Funeral Services will be held immediately following the visitation at the funeral home at 11:00. Fr. Francis DuBois officiating. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy.
