Obituary of Joel David Konieczny

JOEL DAVID KONIECZNY Watervliet- Joel David Konieczny, 62 of Watervliet, entered into eternal life on Monday, November 22, 2010 at the Julie Blair Nursing Home, in Albany. Born in Albany, NY, he was the son of the late Stanley J. and Lucille (Crinan) Konieczny. He was a graduate of Watervliet High School. He was a Cook, employed by the Ann Lee Home in Colonie for many years. He loved hunting, fishing and gardening. Joel was an excellent cook and that is how he made his living. Survivors include his nephew John Konieczny, he was the brother of Steven (Gerri) Konieczny of Ohio, Sharon Matthey of Saratoga Springs, Janice (Andy) Bernath of Montreal, Noreen (Bill Sickles) Konieczny of Clifton Park, Pamela M. (Matt) Gatto of Schenectady, and John Brian Konieczny of Schenectady, his nieces Amanda and Brittany Matthew, Shannon Bernath and nephew Lindsay Bernath and his companion Ilene Baker. Funeral services will be held Friday November 26, 2010 at 1:30 pm in the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham with Rev. Francis DuBois officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to call Friday from 11:30 a.m. -1:30 pm at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham, NY. Interment St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
