Obituary of Elsie Trainor

ELSIE TRAINOR Watervliet- Elsie Trainor, 84 of Watervliet, beloved wife of the late Willson Trainor, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at the Schuyler Ridge Health Care Facility in Clifton Park. Born in Colonie, she was the daughter of the late Anton and Matilda (Krutsch) Burghardt. Elsie was a graduate of Watervliet High School. She was employed as a Teller with Bank of America in Menands for many years until retiring in 1986. Formerly at the First Avenue United Methodist Church in Watervliet. Elsie enjoyed painting. Survivors include her loving daughter Susan (David) Patalino of Clifton Park, Elsie was predeceased by her daughter Paula Sheffer, her sisters Margaret Burghardt and Helen Baker and brother Leo Burghardt, she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday November 5, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home 149 Old Loudon Rd. Latham with Rev. Nick TeBordo officiating. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands. The family would like to thank the staff at Schuyler Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility for the excellent care given to Elsie during her stay with them.
