FRANCES M. CARCIA
Latham- Frances M. Carcia, 84 of Latham, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at the St. Peter's Hospice Inn in Albany.
Born in Albany on January 25, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Stacia Prusinski. She was joined in union with Frank M. Carcia on December 5, 1944. The two shared a blessed union of love and devotion for over 55 years, prior to his passing on July 12, 2000.
At one time she was the manager of the Schuyler Meadows Country Club in Loudonville. She also operated her own successful catering service. Frances was very artistic and enjoyed gardening and sewing. Her exceptional cooking was enjoyed by all her family. A devoted wife and mother her family was her foremost priority in her life. She was devoted to her friends and church group and was a communicant of St. Ambrose Church in Latham.
She is survived by her loving daughters: Linda Carcia of Latham and Victoria (Paul) Moser of Hancock, NH, her cherished grandson Michael Baker and great grandson: Mason Cole Baker. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Sylvia Prusinski, her cousin Vida Bushey and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Frances is predeceased by her sister: Margaret and brothers: Theodore & Edward.
A Memorial Mass of Celebration of Frances life will be held on Tuesday August 10 at 11:00 am at St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham.
Interment will take place in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
