Obituary of Mary Anne Lubinski
MARY ANNE LUBINSKI
GREEN ISLAND - Mary A. Lubinski (McGraw), 92, wife of the late John F. Lubinski who passed in 1972, daughter of the late Micheal F. and Anne C. (Corcoran) McGraw passed away on October 28th, 2024 at the Eddy Heritage House in Troy.
Born in Troy, NY Mary attended St. Peter's School as well as Catholic Central High School. She went on to care for her family as well as dedicate 22 years to her career as a clerk for the NYS Dept. of Taxation & Finance retiring in 1992.
Mary enjoyed spending quality time with her friends and family. She was always busy; she was joyfully involved with the Uncle Sam Choir of which she drove their float in local parades for 15 years. She also enjoyed square dancing. She was a member and traveled with the "Single Squares" for 22 years. Mary also loved to travel and play cards. She will be deeply missed yet forever cherished in the hearts of those she loved.
In addition to her parents and late husband Mary is predeceased by her daughter Wanda M. Lubinski and siblings John McGraw Jr., Margeret Cohen and Anne "Nancy" Gress.
She is survived by her children Jary (Joseph) Grimes, John (Jeanae Washington) Lubinski, siblings Elizabeth Dahl, Thomas, and Daniel, as well as her grandchildren Joann (Bruce) and her beloved Jason along with other extended family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, November 16th, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at The Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham. A brief service will conclude the visitation.
