I'm shocked and saddened by the sudden loss of Julia. Julia was a gem of a person- full of life and love to her family and friends. You knew you can always smile and laugh with her no matter the circumstances! Great mother and wife to her beautiful sons and husband.
I have been honored to get to know and work with Julia on a personal and professional level. As a partner in the NESCUAM community across the northeast, she was always providing excellent, solid solutions to the dispersion modeling community and training and mentoring the next generation of young Jr, meteorologists. Julia is a loving caring friend to all of us and will truly be missed by everyone!
My condolences to her family and friends. She is now safely in God's hands.

I never met Julia in person, but mainly knew her over work calls and emails with the EPA AirNow program. She could always be counted on to provide feedback and input that would benefit the whole community. She was well respected and will be missed.
I am so saddened by the news and praying for the family, may the Lord bring you all peace as you grieve.
My sincere condolences and heart felt anguish at hearing the news.
