MARIE E. JACKSON

COLONIE - Marie E. Jackson, 92 of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 31st, 2024 at Rosewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rensselaer.

Born in Covington County, Alabama on October 6, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Susson D. (Cunningham) Morgan. She was educated in Alabama before moving to Colonie. Marie cherished 40 loving years of marriage with her late husband Walter L. Jackson prior to his passing in 1991.

Marie is survived by her loving sons Theodore D. (Lin) Jackson of Albany and Martin L. (Sharon) Jackson of Latham, as well as three cherished grandchildren Angela Jackson, Amanda Scheidel, and Devin Feezer, two adored great-grandchildren Jacob and Laila and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her late parents, Marie is predeceased by her second husband of 16 years Frank Marciano and her sister Ann Evans.

Marie worked as a secretary with Group Health Insurance in Albany for over 7 years before retiring in 1996.

In keeping with Marie and her family's wishes services will be private.
