Obituary of Domenico Cunsolo
DOMENICO CUNSOLO
CLIFTON PARK - Domenico Cunsolo, 86 of Clifton Park and formerly Latham, entered into eternal life
on September 30th, 2024.
Born on August 26th, 1938 in Cardinale, Italy, he was the son of the late Bruno and Giuseppina Cunsolo.
Before immigrating to the United States in 1962, he proudly served in the Italian Army. Following his
military service, he returned to his hometown of Cardinale, where he met the love of his life, Eleonora
(Renda). The two were married on September 10th, 1961, cherishing a beloved union of 63 years prior to
his passing. Later that year, Eleonora traveled to the United States by herself. Domenico joined her a short
time later and they began their life together, working hard to build and provide for their family.
During his early years in the US, Domenico worked as a bartender at the Trojan Hotel in Troy, he then
worked at a toy factory, and later as a laborer for Beltrone Construction Company. He knew in his heart he could provide a valuable and reliable service; and he took deep pride in his work. This dedication and determination led to him starting his own masonry contracting business in Troy. He dedicated many years to his business and providing for his family up until his retirement in the early 2000’s. Upon retirement and in his free time, Domenico enjoyed gardening and spending quality time with his loving family.
In addition to his beloved wife Eleonora, Domenico is survived by his loving children Pina (Peter)
Magnoli of Clifton Park and Bruno (Nancy) Cunsolo of Cohoes, his cherished grandchildren Domenico
Magnoli, Maurizio Magnoli (Morgan Ritchie), Cassandra Magnoli (Kenneth Nitz), Domenico Cunsolo,
and Miranda Cunsolo (Connor Chamberlain), his brother Giuseppe (Antonietta) Cunsolo of Troy,
brothers-in-law Francesco Renda (late Caterina) of Latham, Nicola Renda (late Giuseppina) of Italy,
Salvatore Renda, and Giuseppe Renda, sisters-in-law Mary Grace Renda (late Vittorio) of Latham, and Giuseppina Cunsolo (late Salvatore Antonio) of Switzerland, and cousin Vittoria Lazzaro (late Nicola) of Italy, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his late parents, Domenico is predeceased by his sister-in-law Vittoria Comito (late Cesare).
