Obituary of Linda Marie (Judge) Junco
LINDA MARIE (JUDGE) JUNCO
BALLSTON LAKE - Linda Marie (Judge) Junco, was born August 10, 1955 in Albany, New York to Patricia A. Mink and Francis D. Judge. She died July 4, 2024 at Albany Medical Center Hospital after a short illness with her family by her side.
Linda graduated from St. Ambrose Grammar School and Shaker High School in Latham. She then attended Siena College in Loudonville. Linda took photography classes, obtained a deep-sea diving certificate, and became a certified yoga instructor. Linda worked at Chart, Inc. as a computer analyst, entertained groups of children as “Toodles the Clown”, and co-owned and managed a restaurant, The Pizza Place, in Cohoes, New York. She had an eye for real estate and in recent years owned and managed rental properties in Saratoga Springs, New York. She was known to many as a free spirit who studied astrological signs and explored dowsing and meditation. Linda loved to experience all that life had to offer; she never wanted to miss an event or opportunity. She had an energy that filled the room. Linda was a very spiritual person and selflessly helped many women over the years to discover their own spirituality.
Linda married Eric Junco in 1977. She had two sons, Tyler and Spencer. She resided in Ballston Lake, New York for 39 years. Active in swimming, kayaking and boating, Linda enjoyed her second home on Lake Champlain and spent many hours on the lake, gardening, and maintaining and improving her property. She loved to travel and took many trips to San Diego, California to visit her son, Tyler, and to care for her two grandsons, Greyson and Cade, whom she adored.
Linda was predeceased by her father, Frank, and her sister, Karen P. Cummings. She is survived by her two sons, Tyler and Spencer, two grandsons, Greyson and Cade, her mother, Patricia A. Judge, her sister, Theresa Judge Laver (Chris) and their children Brittney (Vince), Harrison and Paige, and her deceased sister Karen’s children, Ryan and Emily. She is also survived by her partner, Randolph Flannery, and Randy’s sons Dustin (Laura) and Kyle (Kassandra) and their children who brightened her life. She leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and her beloved pets, Hope and Frankie.
Services for Linda will be held at St. Ambrose Church in Latham, New York on August 9, 2024, at 10:30 am. Her service can be streamed live at St. Ambrose's YouTube channel at https://m.youtube.com/@StAmbroseMedia/streams. In lieu of flowers, Linda’s family welcomes contributions to the American Lung Association (ALA) and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty https://m.youtube.com/@StAmbroseMedia/streamsto Animals (ASPCA).
