Obituary of Joanne Neville

COLONIE - Joanne Neville, 60, of Colonie, NY passed away on Friday, July 19th, 2024 surrounded by her loving family after a long illness.

Joanne was born in Albany on March 10, 1964, the fourth of six children. She graduated from Colonie Central High School in 1983. She went on to a successful career as an insurance administrator for Empire Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Northeastern NY, and The Bone & Joint Center. As a child Joanne enjoyed summers on Cape Cod and was happiest surrounded by family and friends. Joanne was loving, caring, and had a smile that would light up every room she entered. She will be deeply missed yet her light and legacy will live on in the hearts of those who love her.

Joanne is survived by her mother Barbara (Schnapp) Neville, sister Deborah DeVoe (Shawn), sister Kimberly Lauro (Jim), sister Mary Kay Neville, brother Christopher Neville (Marykathryn), nephews Ryan DeVoe, Conor DeVoe, and James Lauro Jr, nieces Gabby and Nina, and great-nieces Ava and Layla. Also survived by her sister-in-law Kimberly Munkwitz and very best friend Kim Clyne.

Joanne was pre-deceased by her father Robert D. Neville Sr. and brother Robert D. Neville Jr.

In accordance with her wishes, services will be private at the convenience of Joanne's family.
