My condolences to the family of Bishop Kelly, to the Daughters of Mary, the Congregation of St. Pius V and the priests of the Society of St. Pius V. The world has lost a dear soul that is greatly missed. As we continue to pray for his soul, I can’t help but feel with great hope that he is already enjoying the beatific vision. He was/is a priest after the very heart of Christ. He was meek and humble and always patient. Always seeking to follow Gods will and to take action to bring greater honor and glory to God.

When I was a kid in 1990, then Fr. Kelly offered the very first TLM I ever attended at a private, home chapel in Wappingers Falls, NY. Thanks to him and the show "What Catholics Believe", my family returned to Catholic Tradition. Though we ended up with the SSPX, I have always carried a fondness and gratitude for Bp Kelly. I regret I never had a chance to meet him again or properly thank him all these years later. Rest in peace, Bp Kelly.
